The many different classifications of work at today’s colleges and universities are indicative of broader trends in the economy. From the classroom to the dining hall to the football field, our higher education institutions are clear examples of how employers are pushing aside our typical understanding of work – and the dangers that arise as our laws and institutions have not kept up.
